Personalized Cancer Immunotherapy Access Through the Right to Try Program

Through the federal Right to Try program,  Elios Therapeutics makes investigational cancer immunotherapy available to eligible patients, a treatment uniquely created from your own tumor tissue to help your immune system fight your cancer.

What is the TLPO Vaccine?

TLPO is a personalized cancer vaccine produced from your own tumor tissue.

The problem: Your immune system often doesn't recognize cancer cells because they originated from your own body.

The solution: We use your tumor tissue to create a vaccine that teaches your immune system to attack your cancer cells.

The process:

  • Discuss this program with your treating physician

  • Your treating physician will schedule you for the collection of the necessary tumor sample to produce the TLPO vaccine

  • Your sample will be shipped to our lab for processing (additional shipping fee via Cryoport). Note: Storage does not obligate you to treatment.

  • The vaccine is administered as an intradermal injection

  • A 30-minute stay follows each dose for your safety monitoring

It's personalized medicine designed specifically for your unique cancer.

What is Right-to-Try?

The federal Right toTry Act (2018) allows patients with life-threatening conditions to access investigational treatments that have completed Phase 1 testing but aren't yet FDA-approved.

This program may be an option if:

  • Standard of care treatments haven't worked

  • You don't qualify for clinical trials

  • You have discontinued treatments because of toxicity and or side effects

  • You're seeking innovative approaches

Important: This is an investigational treatment, not FDA-approved. Your physician will help determine if it's right for you.

Getting Started: Three Simple Steps

1. TALK TO YOUR PHYSICIAN: Your doctor will determine if this treatment is right for you and submit a request on your behalf.

2. REVIEW & APPROVAL: We'll review the request within 4 business days and coordinate next steps with your doctor.

3. TISSUE COLLECTION & MANUFACTURING: Your surgical team will collect tumor tissue, and we'll create your personalized vaccine within approximately 6-8 weeks.

Your Investment in Treatment

  • The total out-of-pocket cost for manufacturing the vaccines is $25,000*.

  • Payment is due after your tissue sample is confirmed viable and before manufacturing begins.

  • We'll provide a detailed invoice and coordinate payment timing with you.

  • Discuss all costs with your physician and financial advisor to understand your complete investment.

*Additional costs may include administration and monitoring by your medical team; tumor collection and shipping*
